Huizheng Information: At the recently concluded CHINACOAT 2024, Global New Material International, as a leading domestic professional producer of pearlescent pigments, made a stunning debut with its unique "dual-brand collaboration" approach. This not only showcased the brand's unique innovative technologies and market positioning but also fully demonstrated its profound accumulation and leading advantages in the field of pigments and fillers.
As the two brands under Global New Material International Holdings(stock code:06616.HK), Chesir and CQV each shone brightly at the exhibition, with booths located at E65 in Hall 2.1 of the China + International Raw Materials Area and E59 in Hall 1.1, respectively. Chesir focuses on high-performance pearlescent materials based on synthetic mica, attracting numerous customers with its environmental friendliness, functionality, and excellent visual effects. CQV, on the other hand, exhibited high-end innovative pearlescent products widely used in automobiles, coatings, solar panels, and other fields, with its stable quality and innovative technology highly favored by international customers.
At the exhibition site, Huizheng News had the honor of conducting an exclusive interview with Chen Min, Sales Director of Guangxi Chesir Pearlescent Material Co., Ltd., for an in-depth exchange on the current transformations in the coating industry, corporate development strategies, and future outlooks.

Faced with numerous challenges in the coating industry's segments in 2024, Chen Min frankly stated that the industry is accelerating towards high performance and environmental protection. The market demand for high-end products has significantly increased, and at the same time, the strict implementation of environmental regulations has imposed higher requirements on enterprise production.
Against this backdrop, Chesir is actively adapting to and leading industry transformations through three strategies: technology upgrading, market expansion, and green production. In terms of technology upgrading, Chesir continuously optimizes product formulas and has launched a series of high-performance pearlescent pigments based on synthetic mica. These products not only offer rich colors and excellent visual effects but also meet the dual demands of high-end customers for environmental protection and performance. In market expansion, the company relies on a comprehensive domestic and international sales network, with a focus on the mid-to-high-end market. The collaboration with CQV has further broadened its international perspective and increased market share. Green production is a constant commitment of Chesir, and by strengthening the research and development of environmentally friendly production processes, it ensures that all products comply with the latest domestic and international environmental standards, contributing to sustainable development.
At the exhibition, Chesir's three product series—pearlescent pigments for automotive coatings, functional pigments for industrial coatings, and environmentally friendly pearlescent pigments for architectural coatings—attracted considerable attention. Chen Min detailed the advantages of these three series: Pearlescent pigments for automotive coatings are suitable for automotive exterior painting, offering richer color expression and excellent anti-aging performance; functional pigments for industrial coatings are characterized by corrosion resistance and high-temperature resistance, widely applicable for surface protection of ships, bridges, and mechanical equipment; environmentally friendly pearlescent pigments for architectural coatings can meet the needs of green building, providing high decorativeness and zero-VOC safety guarantees. The common feature of these products is that they not only comply with strict environmental standards but also achieve breakthroughs in performance, making them widely applicable in various scenarios and helping customers' products stand out in the fiercely competitive market.
When asked to summarize the industry's development in 2024 with one keyword, Chen Min chose "intelligence." He explained that intelligent and digital transformations are becoming the new norm in the coating industry. From the automation improvement of production processes to the precise analysis of market data, the application of intelligent technologies has significantly enhanced enterprises' operational efficiency and product innovation capabilities. Chesir is also actively embracing this change by introducing intelligent systems, optimizing internal management processes, improving customer service quality, and responding to market demands in a more flexible and efficient manner.
In the face of new challenges and business opportunities in the industry, Chesir has formulated a clear strategic plan. Chen Min revealed that the company will focus on capacity investment, new product launches, and international expansion. Specifically, it will add production lines for high-end pearlescent pigments and increase the production capacity of synthetic mica substrates to meet the growing market demand. At the same time, it plans to launch new products suitable for automotive and industrial coatings, with a special emphasis on environmental protection and high performance, to seize market opportunities. In terms of international expansion, it will fully leverage the international sales network of its overseas companies, deepen cooperation with international end-customers, and further expand overseas markets.
Regarding the current biggest challenges and opportunities, Chen Min stated that the uncertainty of market demand brought about by global economic fluctuations and increasingly stringent environmental regulations are undoubtedly challenges that enterprises must face. However, the rapid growth in demand from high-end customers also creates a larger market space for innovative and environmentally friendly products, which will be a significant opportunity for Chesir's development.
Looking ahead to the next 3-5 years, the industry will exhibit trends towards greenness, high-end orientation, and globalization. Strict environmental policies will drive the industry towards more sustainable development; the rise in mid-to-high-end market demand will prompt continuous upgrades in product quality; and with the deepening of international layouts, enterprises need to respond more agilely to global market demands. He emphasized that Chesir will continue to increase investments in technology research and development and market expansion to adapt to these trends and stay ahead.
