The First Phase of the 138th Canton Fair Concludes, with Chemical and New Material Enterprises Making a Collective Appearance to Showcase China's Manufacturing Prowess

HZ info: As a "barometer" and "vane" of China's foreign trade, Phase I of the 138th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) officially concluded on October 19. By the end of that day, the cumulative number of offline overseas buyers reached 157,946, covering 222 countries and regions worldwide, with a month-on-month increase of 6.3%, highlighting the Canton Fair's strong international appeal.

Phase I of this year's Canton Fair, themed "Advanced Manufacturing", covers an exhibition area of 520,000 square meters, with over 25,000 booths, attracting approximately 12,000 enterprises to participate. The exhibition includes 5 sectors and 19 exhibition areas, namely Electronic Home Appliances, Industrial Manufacturing, Lighting Electrical Appliances, Hardware Tools, and Vehicles & Two-Wheelers. It focuses on key fields such as "Three New Products" (new energy vehicles, lithium-ion batteries, and photovoltaic products), industrial automation & intelligent manufacturing, and new energy vehicles & smart mobility, serving as a trade platform for the in-depth integration of new-quality productive forces and intelligent manufacturing. Among them, Chinese chemical new material enterprises made a collective appearance and became one of the highlights of the exhibition with their innovative achievements and technological strength.

As a "Bridge of Trade" partner of the Canton Fair, Ibuychem actively participated in this year's event, with its two major brands – BSR Digital Silk Road and iBuychem – making a simultaneous appearance. During the exhibition, Ibuychem's booth was located at Booths W58-59 in the Central Overpass Area. In the Chemical New Materials Exhibition Area, a number of well-known enterprises in the industry brought their core products and technological achievements, covering multiple segmented fields such as coatings, sealants, mechanical equipment, pigments, and functional materials.

Guangdong Maydos Building Materials Co., Ltd. is one of the representative enterprises participating in this exhibition. Headquartered in Shunde, Guangdong, Maydos holds multiple qualifications, including being among China's Top 500 Private Enterprises, a National Key "Little Giant" Enterprise (specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative), and an Industry Single Champion recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China. Founded in 2003, this national-level key "Little Giant" enterprise has a registered capital of 132.5 million yuan and is headquartered in Dongguan. It has three production bases in Dongguan and Huizhou, covering a total area of 170,000 square meters. After more than 20 years of independent R&D, Pustar has achieved leadership in product technology, production automation, and scale, and owns core independent intellectual property rights. Currently, it is a leading sealant enterprise in China and a world-leading polyurethane sealant enterprise. Jinzong Machinery, Booth No.: 18.1J17

Founded in 1999, Jinzong Enterprise's business covers fields such as mechanical equipment design and manufacturing, intelligent control system R&D, and engineering design and installation. Its core products include synthetic reaction production lines, vacuum emulsification production lines, and mixing and extraction production lines, which are widely used in the automated production of industries such as fine chemicals, coatings, pharmaceuticals & food, and new energy materials. The enterprise has established design and marketing service centers in Guangzhou, and two production factories in Zhaoqing. Rainbow Fine Chemicals, Booth No.: 17.2G19-20

Shenzhen Zhaoxin Energy Co., Ltd., formerly known as Rainbow Fine Chemicals, completed its name change in 2016. Founded in 1995 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2008, this national high-tech enterprise takes fine chemicals and new energy as its two core business segments. In the fine chemical field, its products cover environmental protection functional coatings, green household products, and automobile maintenance products; in the new energy business, it focuses on photovoltaic power station investment and operation, EPC construction, and intelligent operation and maintenance. The enterprise has won nearly 100 honors, including "Top 500 Enterprises in Guangdong Province" and "Top 100 Independent Innovation SMEs in Shenzhen".

Three-ring Pigments, Booth No.: 17.2H32

Hunan Three-ring Pigment Co., Ltd. is a senior enterprise in the iron oxide pigment field. Founded in 1965, Three-ring Pigment has developed into a large-scale manufacturer in the industry after nearly 60 years of development, with an annual production and sales volume of nearly 60,000 tons of iron oxide series pigments. Its products are exported to more than 40 countries and regions in Europe, America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. As a well-known Chinese trademark, "Three-ring Brand" adheres to the concept of "quality builds brand" and has formed a product matrix of seven series of iron oxide pigments for paints, coatings, and building materials. Jiadele, Booth No.: 17.2J08

Guangdong Jiadele Technology Co., Ltd. is a national key "Little Giant" enterprise, focusing on the R&D and production of ester functional materials. In 2022, it successfully undertook a key research project of China's 14th Five-Year Plan. The enterprise has R&D and production bases in Guangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, introducing advanced foreign equipment and technology. Its products cover molecularly distilled monoglycerides, polygly cerol esters, and plastic additives, with a total investment of over 100 million yuan. It is also a university-industry-research base of South China University of Technology and a demonstration base for strategic emerging industries in Guangzhou.

Shanghai Yumei Paint Co., Ltd., Booth No.: 17.2G25-26

Shanghai Yumei Paint Co., Ltd. focuses on the wood coating field. Founded in 2010, Yumei Coatings holds a dominant share in the export cabinet market with its wood coatings. It has service outlets covering multiple regions in China, and has established branches in Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, etc.) and a representative office in Mexico. Its layout in Europe and America is gradually advancing, and its global service network is constantly improving.

Zhanjiang Barock Powder Co., Ltd., Booth No.: 17.2C24

Zhanjiang Barock Powder Co., Ltd. attracted the attention of global buyers with its high-specification barium sulfate products. As a subsidiary of Zhanjiang Xindong Mineral Co., Ltd., which has been deeply engaged in the barite field for more than 40 years, Barock Powder has built a modern production base covering an area of 30,000 square meters in Mazhang District, Zhanjiang, equipped with multiple professional powder processing production lines. The annual production capacity of various barium sulfate products reaches 100,000 tons. Inheriting the technological accumulation of its parent company, the company has achieved the core goal of "purer, whiter, and finer" products through strict raw material selection and advanced process control – the barium sulfate content is not less than 97%, the whiteness can reach more than 93%, and the average particle size can be refined to 1 micron. To further improve precision, the company also introduced advanced German air jet mill production lines, successfully replacing some imported high-end products. 

Yongchang Coatings, Booth No.: 17.2J44

Qingyuan Yongchang Coatings Co., Ltd., which focuses on the automotive coating field, also brought targeted innovative products. Founded in 1995, the company was formerly known as Guangzhou Haizhu District Yongchang Putty Factory. In 2003, it moved to Qingyuan High-Tech Industrial Development Zone and changed its name. Now it covers an area of 30 mu (20,000 square meters) and has significant transportation location advantages. As a professional manufacturer of automotive coatings, its core products include putty and automotive paints, which are widely used in the domestic automobile maintenance and manufacturing fields. To ensure product competitiveness, the company not only introduces advanced foreign production equipment and testing instruments, but also has built a professional talent team with R&D, production, and sales experience. 

Although these chemical new material enterprises differ in their technical directions and application scenarios, they all present a consistent development logic: breaking through with "innovation", winning with "intelligence", and empowering with "green development". Instead of pursuing comprehensive coverage, enterprises focus on deepening their presence in segmented fields and achieving precise innovation driven by technology. From automated production lines to environmentally friendly functional materials, and from specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative technologies to global services, all these reflect the diversity and core competitiveness of China's chemical new material industry, and also allow global buyers to intuitively feel the advanced strength of Made-in-China.
