Designed to outperform even aliphatic polyurethanes and polysiloxanes, Oculox offers exceptional durability, easy application, and long-lasting brilliance - without the use of isocyanates.

Available in a semi-gloss finish, Series 1061 Oculox is the evolution in topcoat technology.

Series 1061Oculox

Generic Type

Silicon-Grafted Composite

Common Usage

A highly innovative, water-based coating that combines user-friendly application characteristics with the aesthetic performance of the industry's best topcoats. This unique formulation cures into a durable film with exceptional resistance to ultra-violet light degradation, resulting in long-term color and gloss retention that extends maintenance cycles. Excellent for use on structural steel, tank exteriors, decorative metals, and industrial and marine equipment. This isocyanate-free, low VOC, and low-odor formulation dry-falls when spray applied, offering fast, labor-saving application rates and protection to nearby structures from damaging overspray.

Special Qualifications

Series 1061 meets the requirements of LEED-Low-Emitting Materials, Collaborative for High-Performance Schools-Paints & Coatings, WELL Building Standard-VOC Restrictions, and Living Building Challenge–Healthy Interior Performance. Contact your Tnemec representative for more information.

This product is part of a coating system tested in accordance with ISO 12944-6 (2018). Contact your Tnemec representative for coating system test results.
