The SSFB-75 resin emulsifier introduced by Jingxin Huiming is a new type of high hydrophilic material with a double bond at one end, which is an anionic non-ionic emulsifier. It can participate in both hydroxyl reactions and double bond free radical reactions as an emulsifier. It can be blended with oil-based resins to form water-based resins, providing 75% content in PMA.

This emulsifier is a combination of anionic and non-ionic emulsifiers, suitable for emulsifying polyurethane resins, acrylic resins, alkyd resins, and epoxy resins. It allows for easier and quicker emulsification of oil-based resins.

Note: Water-based resin can be obtained by mixing the emulsifier with the oil-based resin evenly. (The ratio of emulsifier to oil-based resin can be adjusted according to the emulsification situation)

 

Instructions for Use

1. Mix 1 part of SSFB-75 resin emulsifier with 10 to 20 parts of oil-based resin thoroughly to convert the oil-based resin into water-based resin. Dilute with an appropriate amount of deionized water when using it, suitable for spraying, brushing, etc.

2. Dilution emulsification method: Add deionized water gradually while stirring evenly with a disperser at 800-1000 rpm. The amount of water added should be sufficient for coating and spraying.

3. The ratio of emulsifier to oil-based resin can be tested according to individual needs.

 

Note:

1. Acrylic resin currently only for matte finish; no restrictions on others.

2. Dilute SSFB-75 resin emulsifier with ether ester solvents (DMM/DEDM/PMA/PGDA), with water content 0.05% and alcohol content 0.02%.

3. For high gloss systems, the resin emulsifier may not be suitable. Test or consult the manufacturer before use.

4. Shelf life is 6 months if sealed and stored below 25 in a dry place. Flammable; handle with care.

5. The manufacturer can provide overall design solutions based on customer needs, including modifying product formulations and setting process methods.

Summary:

The emulsification of SSFB-75 with 503 Polyurethane Resin, 503A Hydroxy Acrylic Resin, Tonde 3015B Alcohol Acid Resin, E44, and E12 Epoxy Resin all yielded excellent results. Among them, the emulsification ratio for 503, 503A, and Tonde 3015B Alcohol Acid Resin can reach 1:30.
