Sto Corp., a leader in claddings, air barriers, coatings and restoration systems, has once again been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications. The International Organization for Standardization sets the bar for proprietary industrial and commercial performance standards and awards certification to organizations that meet or exceed these standards. Sto has continuously held the ISO 9001 certification since December 1998 and the ISO 14001 since April 2009.
The ISO 9001:2015 requirements for a Quality Management System affirm Sto’s ability to consistently provide products that meet customer requirements and deliver customer satisfaction. The ISO 14001:2015 certification, meanwhile, confirms that Sto has an established Environmental Management System and meets the ISO standards for minimizing the environmental impacts of its company operations and practices while fulfilling its legal and regulatory obligations.
These awards are comprehensive in that they scru tinize all the relevant business areas at all of a company’s locations. For Sto, that means the company has exhibited a commitment to superior quality management and sustainable environmental practices at all US-based facilities, including its corporate office in Atlanta, GA, and manufacturing plants in Atlanta, Glendale, Arizona, and Rutland, Vermont.
