AQUALATE 8144 is a self-crosslinking waterborne acrylic emulsion polymerized with core-shell structure technology at room temperature. It has extremely high permeability of dry and wet films, good fullness, excellent adhesion to a variety of oily paint substrates, good water and chemical resistance, and good compatibility with most polyurethane dispersions.
Product features:
√ Special monomer selection and particle morphology design;
√ Smaller particle size, clearer dry and wet films;
√ High Tg, low MFFT, better film adhesion;
√ Excellent adhesion on a variety of substrates;
√ Excellent water and chemical resistance;
√ Strong matting, saving formulation costs.
Application direction:
√ High-performance one-component transparent and colored primers;
√ Oil-based water-based coating process;
(Due to the differences in different oily bases, poor adhesion may occur, and matching tests are required before application);
√ Coating applications with high requirements for wet and dry film permeability;
Application areas:
Office furniture, shaped furniture, cabinets, display racks
