Product Nature 

White crystalline powder, soluble in organic solvents such as benzene, acetone, and chloroform; slightly soluble in ethanol; insoluble in water, excellent resistance to hot water extraction: low volatility; no migration or blooming when added to products. Antioxidant 1010 is basically non-toxic. The median lethal dose (LD50 for white rats 15000mg/kg) has been approved for use in packaging materials that come into contact with food in many developed countries in the world, such as the United States.

Note: The melting point in the usual sense indicates the purity of the substance. The narrower the melting point range, the higher the purity of the substance. However, 1010 has a variety of crystal forms, the most common of which is α type, with a melting point of 110-115℃. The commercially available 1010 is usually a mixture of α type and β type, and the mixing ratio has no effect on the antioxidant properties of the product. According to the latest research results, 1010 also has γ type, λ type and unstable crystal forms.
