SMP-LPA water-based thickening rheological agent  is a purified, modified and easily dispersible sodium-based bentonite product. It is off-white or light gray powder, non-toxic and odorless, and soft in texture. It has excellent swelling, colloid dispersion, suspension, thickening and thixotropy in water.

The product is used in water-based systems, has good stability, can control the viscosity of the system, provide thixotropic properties, has good anti-settling properties for pigments and fillers, and improves the stability of emulsions.

How to use

Weigh a certain amount of SMP-LPA water-based thickener, slowly add it into 25-30℃ water while stirring to avoid caking, adjust the speed to 1000-1500rpm, disperse for 20-30min, fully disperse and form a homogeneous gel, which can be used directly or placed for 8-24h for standby use. It is recommended that SMP-LPA be pre-dispersed in water at a concentration of 5%. Generally, the pre-gel method is better than the direct addition dispersion method. The concentration of the gel configuration depends on the stirring speed of the dispersion equipment and the viscosity of the product.

 

Packaging and storage

The outer packaging is a kraft paper bag, and the inner packaging is a double-layer packaging of a polyethylene film bag, or a paper bag. The weight is usually 25±0.25kg, or packaged according to user requirements. When stored in dry and ventilated conditions at a temperature of 0~30℃, the quality validity period is 24 months.
