Hz info:Recently, the "60,000-ton annual production project of technological industrial coatings and water-based environmental coatings" by Ambassador Paint (Anhui) Co., Ltd. has made significant progress. The equipment for the three major workshops of anti-corrosion, powder, and resin coatings has been fully installed and is currently in the final debugging phase, with an expected official production start in September.

Located in the Anqing Daguan Economic Development Zone Coatings Industry Park, the project covers an area of 36,000 square meters, with a total investment of 345 million yuan. It plans to build production lines for 49,800 tons of solvent-based coatings, 7,200 tons of water-based coatings, and 3,000 tons of powder coatings annually, along with an annual production facility for 2,090 tons of self-used resins.
In today's era of rapid technological development, intelligent transformation has become a key for companies to enhance their competitiveness. According to Sheng Yu, the technical director, "Under traditional production conditions, it usually takes over two hours to produce 15 tons of coatings. Now, with the intelligent factory in operation, 30 tons of products can be produced in just 45 minutes, a six-fold increase in efficiency." This intelligent transformation not only significantly improves production efficiency but also leads the green development of the coatings industry.
Technological innovation is the core driving force for corporate development. Gu Qiuqin, the general manager of Ambassador Paint (Anhui) Co., Ltd., said, "Through continuous technological innovation and process improvement, we are committed to building a modern intelligent factory. Moreover, relying on our headquarters, we continuously develop new products. Our newly developed nuclear power plant heavy anti-corrosion coatings and wave-absorbing stealth coatings have broken the foreign technological monopoly in heavy anti-corrosion coatings and filled the domestic technological gap." Once the project is fully operational, the estimated annual output value is expected to exceed 1 billion yuan.
Ambassador Paint (Anhui) Co., Ltd. was established in March 2020, with Dai Renxing as the legal representative and a registered capital of 105 million yuan. It is 79% controlled by Jiangsu Ambassador Tongfeng Paint Co., Ltd. Relying on the parent company's advantages in capital, management, and personnel, the company focuses on the production and research and development of technological industrial coatings. Its products cover acrylic series paints, epoxy series, polyurethane series paints, and more, widely used in high-end fields such as military, nuclear power, bridges, ships, oceans, and petrochemical facilities, and are sold throughout China and Southeast Asia.

Jiangsu Ambassador Tongfeng Paint Co., Ltd., as the technical support and parent company of the project, has been dedicated to the research and development and production of industrial coatings since its establishment in 1999. As a national high-tech enterprise and a specialized, refined, unique, and innovative enterprise in Jiangsu Province, it has passed the ISO9001:2008 quality management system and ISO14001:2004 environmental management system certifications and has established the "Jiangsu Provincial High-Corrosion-Resistant Anti-Shielding Special Coatings Engineering Technology Research and Development Center." The company values technological cooperation and innovation, closely collaborates with domestic chemical coating research institutes and other professional institutions, actively introduces advanced foreign technologies, and has in-depth exchanges with Germany's MANKIEWICZ company to continuously enhance its R&D capabilities. Its product line is rich and covers multiple industrial fields, including epoxy and other series of anti-corrosion coatings, high-grade architectural latex coatings, and professional coatings for underground pipelines and other facilities, with a complete and scientific quality management system.
In 2025, Ambassador Paint has achieved fruitful results in innovation. "An automatic coating and drying treatment device and method" and "An automatic coating device and method for coating production equipment" reflect the company's efforts in production automation and the refinement of coating processes, which helps to improve production efficiency and product quality. Two important patents, "A non-carbon epoxy conductive anti-static anti-corrosion coating and its preparation method" and "A self-healing type ship anti-fouling coating and its preparation method," the former solves the problem of unstable performance of traditional epoxy coatings in harsh environments through innovative formulations, and the latter endows the coatings with good self-healing and anti-fouling properties through advanced preparation processes. These innovative achievements fully demonstrate the company's R&D capabilities.
It is worth mentioning that the "New Type of Graphene Absorptive Shielding Coating" independently developed by Ambassador Paint was successfully selected into the national "Catalogue of Advanced Technology Achievements Intellectual Property Rights Transformation" this year. The product has excellent technical performance. In terms of electromagnetic shielding, a coating of only 50g/m² can achieve a shielding efficiency of ≥40dB, effectively blocking 99.99% of electromagnetic waves; in terms of wave absorption performance, the minimum reflection loss can reach -62.23dB, absorbing more than 99.999% of electromagnetic wave energy. This breakthrough technology not only solves the problems of interference and stealth in complex electromagnetic environments but also breaks the foreign technological monopoly, providing key material support for strategic emerging industries such as 5G communication, aerospace, and new energy vehicles, with significant strategic and market value.
The completion and operation of this project will further enhance Ambassador Paint's production capacity in the high-end industrial coatings field, promote the development of the coatings industry towards intelligence and high-end, and inject new momentum into the domestic substitution and technological innovation of China's industrial coatings.
